    The Anpu Stick PTFE Anti-Corrosion Radar Level Meter uses a corrosion-resistant, fully sealed PTFE rod antenna structure, specifically designed for level measurement of strong acids, strong alkalis, organic solvents, and other highly corrosive liquids. In chemical storage tanks, acid-alkali tanks, wastewater treatment, and various corrosive working conditions, the instrument can operate stably and continuously in complex and harsh environments. The product adopts a non-contact continuous measurement principle, effectively avoiding direct contact between the instrument and the corrosive medium being tested, greatly reducing the risk of damage caused by corrosion and significantly extending the instrument's service life.

    This product is especially suitable for storage tanks of strong acids such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, and nitric acid, as well as long-term level monitoring needs for sodium hydroxide solutions and various chemical solvents. For corrosive conditions, PTFE is currently recognized as the preferred process contact material solution, offering excellent acid and alkali resistance as well as solvent corrosion resistance. For solvent-based media with low dielectric constant, the 26G radar enables more stable and accurate level measurements. The beam angle can reach as little as 8°, with highly concentrated energy, effectively enhancing echo signal strength. Even during stirring, foaming, and other conditions, it can accurately identify the true liquid level.

    ● Non-contact measurement method, balancing corrosion resistance and maintenance-free The
     non-contact principle completely isolates electronic components and metal casings from corrosive media environments, preventing probe damage or signal failure caused by media erosion. This not only ensures long-term measurement reliability but also significantly reduces equipment failure rates and maintenance costs.

    ● Anti-saging and Anti-Condensation Design The
     rod antenna has a smooth surface and simple structure. Combined with the strong hydrophobicity and anti-adhesion ability of PTFE materials, even when measuring liquid levels of easily crystallized or adhering media, it is not easily disturbed by material or condensation, and normal measurement is maintained almost without the need for a blowing device.

    Working principle

    The Anpu Stick PTFE Anti-Corrosion Radar Level Meter uses advanced Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) technology. The instrument antenna continuously emits a 26G millimeter wave at a frequency that increases linearly toward the measured medium; the electromagnetic waves reflect off the surface of the medium. The reflected echo signals are received by the antenna and processed in real time through electronic circuits.

    Since the propagation speed of electromagnetic waves in air is constant (speed of light), the microprocessor can accurately calculate the distance from the antenna end face to the medium surface based on the frequency difference between the transmitted signal and the reflected echo, thereby determining the level height. The unique signal processing mechanism of FMCW technology effectively suppresses false echoes caused by liquid level fluctuations, stirring interference, and tank internal obstacles, enabling stable and accurate data output even in highly corrosive chemical liquids and conditions prone to crystallization and material daggging.

    Installation precautions

    To ensure the Ampu Instrument Rod-Type PTFE Anti-Corrosion Radar Level Meter performs optimally under highly corrosive conditions, please pay attention to the following during installation:

    • Installation location: For flat-bottom storage tanks, it is recommended to install them at 1/4 or 1/6 of the tank diameter; For conical bottom tanks, it is recommended to install them at the center of the tank top to ensure measurement reaches the bottom.

    • Avoid feed inlets and obstacles: Instrument installation should avoid directly above the feed port to prevent the feed flow from directly impacting the antenna area. At the same time, antenna beams should avoid facing the tank stirrer, ladders, heating coils, and other structures inside the tank.

    • Pipe Connection Length Control: The angled cone section of the rod antenna is the effective area for electromagnetic wave transmission and reception; it must be fully extended into the tank. If the installation of the conduit is too long, the metal cylinder section of the antenna should be extended to ensure the effective transmission area of the antenna is fully exposed inside the tank.

    • Distance from tank wall: It is recommended to be at least 30cm away from the tank wall. Installation too close may generate strong tank wall reflection signals, affecting measurement accuracy.

    • Protection from direct sunlight and rain: When installing outdoors, if the instrument is under strong sunlight, shading and rainproof measures should be taken to extend the LCD display's lifespan and ensure long-term stability.

    • Corrosion-resistant connections: Flange connections should preferably use PTFE flanges or 316L stainless steel flanges with PTFE lining; For threaded connections, it is recommended to use corrosion-resistant G11/2A stainless steel threads combined with PTFE raw tape for sealing.

    • On-site Commissioning: The device is equipped with a 128×64 high-definition LCD large display, combined with four buttons on the panel for menu configuration and parameter adjustment. While obtaining measurements through the glass window, real-time echo curves and signal strength can also be observed on site.

    • Bluetooth Debugging: Built-in Bluetooth 5.0 wireless communication module, allowing on-site engineers to wirelessly connect to instruments using their phones. All parameter settings can be completed without climbing onto the tank top, significantly improving work efficiency and safety.
