    Industrial assembly of RTDs as temperature measurement sensors is usually used in conjunction with temperature transmitters, regulators, and display instruments to form process control systems, directly measuring or controlling the temperatures of liquids, vapors, gases, and solid surfaces within the -200°C to -500°C range during various production processes.

    Thermal resistance measures temperature by utilizing the characteristic that a material's resistance changes with temperature fluctuations. When temperature shaving is present in the measured medium, the measured temperature is the average temperature within the medium within the range of the sensing element.

    Although the shapes of various RTDs vary greatly, their basic structures are generally similar, generally consisting of temperature sensing elements, insulating bushings, protective tubes, and junction boxes.

    Working principle

    Insulation resistance at room temperature

    The thermal resistor operates at ambient temperatures of 15–35°C, with relative humidity not exceeding 80%. The test voltage is 10–100V (DC), and the insulation resistance between the electrode and the outer casing is >100MΩ.
