  • I. Product Overview

    PTFE-lined integrated temperature transmitter, is a specially designed product based on the traditional integrated temperature transmitter, tailored for highly corrosive media. Its key feature is a dense polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) lining applied to the outer surface of the protective tube that contacts the process medium. Leveraging PTFE’s excellent chemical stability, it completely isolates the corrosive medium from the metal protective tube, enabling long-term, stable temperature measurement in highly corrosive environments such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, aqua regia, hydrofluoric acid, and caustic soda.

    The product integrates a temperature sensor and a transmitter module into a single unit, directly outputting a standard 4–20 mA current signal that can be seamlessly connected to PLC and DCS systems. It is widely used in highly corrosive environments such as chemical reaction vessels, pickling tanks, electroplating baths, wastewater treatment, and pharmaceutical fermentation.

    II. The PTFE-lined integrated temperature transmitter adopts a three-layer protective structure:

    Outer Layer—PTFE Lining: A dense, uniform polytetrafluoroethylene layer, 1–3 mm thick, tightly bonded to the metal substrate, providing direct contact with corrosive media.

    Intermediate layer – metal protection tube: typically made of 304 or 316L stainless steel, providing mechanical strength and support

    Inner layer – temperature sensor: platinum resistance (Pt100) or thermocouple, encapsulated within the protection tube to ensure measurement accuracy

    Integrated Design: The transmitter module is housed within the junction box, eliminating the need for additional wiring on-site and ensuring stable, reliable signal transmission. An optional LCD display is available for convenient on-site monitoring.
