Flat-junction plug-in armored RTD
- Product Description
-
Round plug-in armored RTDs are widely used temperature sensors in industrial temperature measurement, typically modeled after the WZPK series. Its core feature is the combination of fine platinum resistive elements, high-purity insulating materials (such as magnesium oxide), and metal bushings through a stretching process into a robust whole. This structure gives it advantages such as a slender shape, flexibility, high pressure resistance, shock resistance, and fast thermal response, making it especially suitable for installation in narrow, curved pipelines or special situations requiring quick response.
Below is a detailed introduction from several aspects:
Product Features and Technical Parameters
Main features:
Short thermal response time: low dynamic error, allowing rapid tracking of temperature changes.
High measurement accuracy: Usually uses imported thin-film platinum resistive elements, which are stable and reliable in performance.
Sturdy structure: small outer diameter (commonly Φ3-Φ8mm), length can be customized as needed, and it can be bent.
Strong adaptability: The stainless steel outer casing gives it excellent resistance to contamination and mechanical strength.
Core Technical Parameters:
Temperature measurement range: -200°C ~ +500°C (suitable for liquid, steam, gaseous media, and solid surfaces).
Graduation code: Pt100 (platinum thermal resistor, international standard).
Accuracy grades: Usually offered as Class A and Class B, with tolerances of ±(0.15+0.002|t|) and ±(0.30+0.005|t|) respectively.
Thermal response time (τ0.5): depends on casing diameter, about 3 seconds for Φ3, about 15 seconds for Φ8.
Room temperature insulation resistance: At ambient temperature 15~35°C and relative humidity ≤ 80%, insulation resistance >100MΩ.
Take "WZPK-" as an example
Model naming follows national standards, with the meanings of each part as follows:
W: Temperature instrument
Z: Thermal resistance
P: Platinum resistor (Pt100)
K: Armored type
Numbers (e.g., -163): The following digits indicate the type of junction box (e.g., "6" for round plug-in type), installation and fixing devices, etc. For example, the "6" in the model specifically refers to the "round plug-in" junction box.
When selecting models, besides determining the temperature measurement range and accuracy, the main focus should be on selecting suitable mounting and fixing devices based on the site conditions.
Example of a model suffix Install the fixing device Applicable scenarios -16_ (e.g., WZPK-163) No fixed fixtures Direct insertion, suitable for non-pressure or temporary measurement scenarios -26_ (e.g., WZPK-263) Fixing the sleeve thread Fixed installation, suitable for pipelines or containers under pressure -36_ (e.g., WZPK-363) Movable ferrule threads Adjustable insertion depth for flexible installation -46_ (e.g., WZPK-463) Fixing the ferrule flange Suitable for highly corrosive, high-temperature, high-pressure conditions, with reliable connections -56_ (e.g., WZPK-563) Movable card sleeve flange It combines the reliability of flanges with the convenience of adjustability Single or dual selector: Models marked with "2" (e.g., WZPK2-*) indicate dual-core RTDs**, which can output two signals simultaneously for redundant measurement of important measurement points or for simultaneous display and control.
